Pauline Heine (nee Bambach) b. 1/4/1933 in Zerne, Yugoslavia and immigrated to the United States to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1952. Pauline is the loving wife of the late Jacob Heine. Devoted daughter of the late Pauline (nee Croditier) and Rudolf Bambach. She is survived by her sister, Lea Bachert, and 2 sister-in-laws. Preceded in death by her brothers Rudolf Jr. and Walter Bambach. Loving mother of Herman (Renee’) Heine, Hilda Heine, Emily (Sam) Slayden, John (Shannon) Heine and the late Walter (liv. Linda) Heine. Loving grandmother of Jesse, Isaac, Jamie, Amy, Rebecca, Cheryl, Adam, Serena, Keith, Lydia, Kevin, Emily and Megan and great grandmother "Oma" of 18 great grandchildren. Loving aunt and great aunt of several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and a dear friend to many. She was a lifetime member of the Cincinnati Donauschwaben Verein and the Bayerische Unterstützungs Verein. She survived many hardships in her early years. She took pride in her family and always looked to be of service to others. Her daily motto was “What are my duties today, Lord?” Everyone loved her cooking and baking and especially her laughter. She will be greatly missed on this earth but she is rejoicing with the angels in heaven. “Gott gib ihr die ewige ruh “
Visitation Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 9:00-10:30 A.M. at the Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, 3155 Harrison Ave., Westwood followed by funeral mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. Catharine Church, 2848 Fischer Pl., Westwood. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Old Cemetery.
