Obituary for Ramon Lorta

Ramon “Ray” Lorta passed away on February 4th at the age of 74. He is survived by his son Eric (Lisa) Lorta and his two grandchildren Elena Betty and Antonio David Ramon Lorta. He is also survived by his sisters Anita (Frank) Sienkiewicz and Yolanda De La Rosa and numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded by his wife Betty Ann Lorta and grandmother Elena Marta.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Ramon Lorta, Dad, you gave me the blueprint.

Ray enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He did a tour in Vietnam and was on the USS Enterprise during the fire in 1969.

He worked for Enerfab as a welder for over 30 years. He loved his job and the people there.

When he was younger, he played golf. That was his favorite thing on Saturday mornings. He was also an avid chess player. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Dad loved the X-Box as well as online gaming. He was an “expert” on the online game World of Tanks. MellowBadger335, you’ll be missed on the battlefield.
