Whitaker, Gene Woodward. Beloved husband for 51 years of Jan Whitaker (nee Trefzger). Loving father of Gina (Charles) Gourley and Kimberly Ann Whitaker. Devoted grandpa of Randy Lee Whitley, Jr. and Lydia Ann Case. Dear son of Dorothy (nee Hunter) Whitaker (deceased) and Horace "Sonny" (late Barbara) Whitaker. Brother of James (Beverly) Whitaker and Susan Whitaker and the late Jack (liv. Sharon) Whitaker. Also survived by mother in law Lydia (late Jerry) Trefzger and many other close family and friends. Gene has been the owner and proprietor of Whitakers Drive Thru for the last 14 years after retiring from a 38 year career in sales at the Cincinnati Color Company.  He passed on his birthday Jan. 12, 2023, Age 73. Visitation at Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, 3155 Harrison Ave., Westwood, Saturday Jan. 21st from 2pm until time of Funeral Services at 4pm. Burial at Spring Grove will be private.
