Obituary for Edward C. Schuerman
Schuerman, Edward Carl, 73, passed away Saturday, July 30,2022 surrounded by his family. Ed was born on March 26, 1949 to Mary (Roehrig) and Edward Schuerman in Cincinnati, Ohio. After Ed graduated from LaSalle High School, he went on to study Business at the University of Cincinnati. After graduating with a degree in Business, he found himself working in the motion picture industry, kickstarting a 25 year career.
In 1973, Ed met Janey Bruce on a blind date set up by his family. Ed and Janey married and went on to have 2 children: Matthew (Katie) Schuerman and Jill (Mike) Moran.
In 2021, Ed retired and spent his time as a devoted Catholic, holding down his big comfy chair, an errand runner for Janey, a playmate for Buddy, his beloved dog. Ed also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends every chance he got. Ed enjoyed going to the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals games and was always up for a round of golf.
Ed is predeceased in death by his parents, his Grandparents; Laura and Carl Roehrig, and his Uncle Gene Bruch. He is survived by his wife, Janey, loving father of Jill (Mike) Moran and Matt (Katie) Schuerman, his sister Barb (Roger) Lammert, brother Mike (Sandi) Schuerman, and Grandchildren, Jordan Schuerman, Austin Moran and Mason Moran. Ed also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and family and friends who were very dear to him.
Visitation Friday, August 5, from 9:30am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 3450 Lumardo Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio. Burial immediately following at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Rd. Cincinnati, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice.
