Obituary for Edward Earl Klapper
Edward E. Klapper, age 88 of Green Township, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2022. He was born on October 28, 1933 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ed was the son of the late Louis and Mildred (née McKinney) Klapper. He was the loving husband of the late Geraldine Klapper (née Jones); father of Michael Klapper, Joan (Rick) Chouteau, Patricia (Steve) Goldschmidt, & Kathleen (Richard) Brietenstein; brother of LeRoy Klapper, Lois Walker, and the late Kenneth Klapper; grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 17.
Ed was the proud owner of Ed Klapper and Son Painting and was very active within the community, belonging to numerous organizations including Cheviot-Westwood Kiwanis, Cheviot Fire Assn., Moose Lodge #2, Goldenaires and The Famous Social Club.
Visitation will be held at Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, Westwood location, 3155 Harrison Ave on Tuesday, July 19th from 10AM until time of services at 11:45AM. Burial immediately following at Glen Haven Cemetery in Harrison, Ohio. A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:30-4:30 PM at the Miami Heights Civic Center, 3780 Shady Lane.
If so desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
