Hilda M. Foegle (nee Buckreus) devoted wife of the late Edward J. Foegle Sr. Beloved mother of Judith A. (Robert) Carlson, Edward J. Foegle Jr., of Austin, TX, Thomas M. (Kathleen) Foegle, of Allen, TX and Melissa M. (Charles) Haas. Special step-grandma of Andrea Carlson Magan and Carey Haas. Dear sister of the late Marie (Alois) Beller, Adeline (Ferd) Flick, Rosella (Charles) Ward, Agnes (Clete) Haas and Louis (Ruth) Buckreus. Loving sister-in-law of the late John (living Carolyn) Foegle and the late Mary (Walter) Heffron, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Passed away July 9, 2022. Age 96 years. Hilda was a loving wife, mother, singer, golfer, gardener, traveler and enjoyed a good dirty martini. She was a dedicated member of the St. Ignatius Choir for 50 years, and sang with the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption choir on international tours. She was also a proud 30 year volunteer for Great Parks of Hamilton County. Visitation Monday, July 18, 2022 from 9-10:30 A.M. at the Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, 3155 Harrison Ave., Westwood followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. Ignatius Church, 5222 North Bend Rd. Burial to follow at Bridgetown Cemetery.
