Metz, Eugene F. "Gene" Beloved husband for 32 wonderful years to Donna (nee Lichtenfeld) Metz. Loving father of Jeremy Metz, Mindi (Keith) Arachikavitz and Murray (Nanci) Miller. Faithful companion of his dog, Max. Cherished grandpa of Kayla, Michael, Elizabeth, Anna, Angelica, Angel, Carlos, and Carla. Great grandpa of Elijah, Bella and William. Dear brother of Jim (Cherry), Terry (Joann), Jackie, Cheryl, Tammy (Dave), Sonya (Glenn), Mike, Jenny (Steve), Michelle, and the late Bob, Dan (liv. Carol) and Kenny. Brother in law of Jim, Kathy (Bill), Lisa (Jeff), and Jerry. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Gene was a proud veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He retired from Queen City Metro as the Past Union Vice President. He was the proud member of the Mt Healthy American Legion Post #513 and North Bend Masonic Lodge #346. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, June 8th at the age of 68. The family would like to thank their "healthcare dream team", Anne and Diamond from Hospice of Cincinnati and Diane from American Mercy Home Health Care for their outstanding care of Gene during his final months.
