Obituary for Rita Virginia Berger

Rita Virginia Berger (nee Wuestefeld), born January 5, 1932 in St. Leon, Indiana. Beloved wife of the late Clyde Berger. Loving daughter of the late Mary (Fisher) and William Wuestefeld. Devoted mother of Tim (Chris), Tom (Diane), Greg (Debbie) and Mike (Gail). Loving grandma of Tracey Ruch, Emily (Mark) Mason, Amy (Kevin) Hall, Dale (Christy), Tom (Missy) and Mark (Carrie) Berger, Nicole (DJ) Sims, Andrew Berger, Jake (Kylie) Berger, Hunter (Mariah) Moore and Sam (Morgan) Berger.

Adoring great grandma of Alyson (Zach) Wesley, Kansas (Michael) Harvey, Ethan and Avery Mason, Owen Ruch, Kendall, Kobe and Easton Hall, Tyler (Melissa), Erin, Grayson, and Isabella Berger and Kai Moore, and Great-great grandma of Rudolph and Catherine Harvey and Lucas Berger.

Rita is survived by her sister, Alice Hughes (the late Gerry) of New Alsace, Indiana and sister in law Paulette (Dennis) Halker. Preceding her in death were siblings, Ralph (Rita) and Eugene Wuestefeld, Celeste (Ed) Allen, Blanche (Virgil) Hoff, Tillie (Earl) Bischoff, and Bertie (Cliff) Fledderman and a few nieces and nephews. Many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends are left to honor her memory.

Left this world on June 4, 2022, age 90 years old. Visitation 9:00 am, June 7th at St. Martin of Tours Church, 3720 St. Martins Pl. Cincinnati, Ohio until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. A Celebration of Rita’s life will follow at Keller’s Cheviot Café, 3737 Glenmore Avenue immediately following Mass. If attending, please wear Rita’s favorite color of purple, or bright colors. Burial will be private. Neidhard Minges Funeral Home serving the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ohio Valley Hospice or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We would like to thank Rita’s family and friends for their loving support and prayers.
