Goldschmidt, Eleanor "Ellie" (nee Schlueter) Beloved wife of the late Donald J. Goldschmidt. Loving mother of Judy (late Denver) Downard, Donna (Tim) Lucas, Michael (Diane) Goldschmidt, Patricia (Thomas, Jr.) Dignan, Steven (Patricia) Goldschmidt, Kim (Dave) Campbell and Barbara (James) Harding. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Ralph Schlueter, the late Frank Schlueter, the late Edward Schlueter, the late Elmer Schlueter, the late Alma Kamphake, and the late Paul Schlueter. “Ellie” was a graduate of Regina High School. She retired at age 70 after 28 years as Office Manager with Cincinnati Stage Employees Local No. 5. After retirement, Ellie enjoyed water aerobics for 16 years with swim friends at Mercy HealthPlex. She also loved cooking and caring for her herb vegetable garden. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 21, from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Antoninus Church, 1500 Linneman Ave. (Covedale). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
