Obituary for Jacquelyn E. Voss
Cheviot - Jacquelyn E. Voss (nee Dittus), age 66, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2021 after a fearless 6-month battle against cancer. Beloved wife for 48 years of David W. Voss. Jackie was the best wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.
She is survived by her son, John David and son-in-law Shannon Sexton (Fiancée Sonya); Grandchildren Hanna and JD Voss and Dean, Jack and Suzanne Voss-Sexton. Her daughter Suzanne preceded her in death 5 years ago. Jackie in now reunited in heaven with Suzanne. Other survivors include sisters-in-law Maureen (Ed) Carmack, Joan (Dennis) O'Shea and brother-in-law Danny (Sue) Voss and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jackie graduated from Western Hills HS at age 17. She immediately began working in the banking field of Provident Bank. She moved on to be employed at 5/3 Bank and retired after 25 plus years of service. She was a customer service representative. She was known for her congeniality with coworkers and customers.
A special thanks to niece Heather Light and friends Nancy Walls and Maureen Carmack for their companionship and help to Jackie during her final days.
Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 10:30 AM at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Church, 4366 Bridgetown Rd, Cinti, OH 45211. Facemasks and social distancing are required in the church. Burial will follow at Bridgetown Cemetery.
