Scales Terry Lee, age 51 years of Blue Ash, Ohio died after a short illness on February 8, 2021. Terry was the beloved husband of Melissa R. Scales (nee Barnes), loving father of Jason Tyler Scales and Olivia Margaret Scales, and devoted son of Jason Lee and Margaret Sue (nee Bailey) Scales of Nancy, Ky. Terry graduated from Sycamore High School (Class of 1988), where he met his future wife in junior year English class. Terry was a supervisor at Long Stanton MFG. Co. in Hamilton, Ohio, approaching his 33rd year with the company. Terry was a diehard fan of The Kentucky Wildcats basketball team since he was five years old. He loved corvettes, golfing. vacationing in Florida and going down to the farm in Nancy, Ky. After struggling for 13 years to start a family, Terry and Missy were blessed with the birth of Tyler in 2009 and 18 months later, the additional blessing of Olivia. Terry is also survived by his large extended family, including his aunts, uncles, cousins and Missy's six siblings, their spouses and children. Visitation will be private. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday, February 15, 9:30am at St. Gertrude Church, 6543 Miami Ave. (Madeira).
