Obituary for Richard Witt
Witt, Richard “Dick” beloved partner of Mary Byrd (nee Presnell) for 36 years. Dear father of Tracy Witt, Cliff (Kellie) Byrd, Joshua (Cassie) Witt, Chris (Laura) Witt, Justin (Karen) Byrd, Anna Witt and the late Elizabeth Byrd. Loving grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 3. Caring brother of Albert “Tiny” (Karen) Witt, Kathy (the late Don) Middendorf, and the late Del (Jim) Berry and Dale Witt. Dick is also survived by many family and friends.
Dick passed away December 30, 2020 at the age of 73. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, fishing, traveling, camping and the way his eyes would light up when Mary brought him a case of Milwaukee’s Best.
Family will receive friends for a visitation at Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, Harrison (10385 New Haven Rd., Harrison, OH 45030) on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 10 AM until 11:45 AM. Memorial Mass will follow at 12 noon at St. John the Baptist Church, Harrison (10010 Carolina Trace Rd., Harrison, Oh 45030). Memorial Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674
