Collins, James D. "Jim" Loving father of Greg (Virginia) and Tony Collins, Annette (Marvin) Phelps, Matthew and Katie Collins. Devoted grandfather of Alisha Phelps, Moriah (Marcus) Etter, Rachel (Joe) Noppert, Heather and Jesse Phelps. Great grandpa of Maci, Joseph, Kylee, Gage, Liam, Luca and Camden. Also survived by two siblings and many dear friends. Preceded in death by 6 siblings. Passed away Dec. 22, 2020 Age 83. Air Force Veteran of Korean War.. Jim was known to all who knew him for being a very strong and hard working man. He retired from Sylvania and then also retired from Sysco Foods as a warehouseman. In his younger years he loved hunting and fishing. Jim also had a “green thumb”. He loved working and growing his awesome garden every year. He was a great family man and loved his nickname “Pap-Pap” given to him by his grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend Memorial Service at Neidhard Minges Funeral Home, 10385 New Haven Rd., Harrison, Ohio 45030 on Saturday Janurary 2nd from 12 noon  until time of service at 1pm. Donations in lieu of flowers are requested to be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
