Marion K. Totton (nee Allspaugh) age 88 of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. Marion was born July 8, 1932 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of John L. Allspaugh and Edith E. Eschler (nee Louis). She was the beloved wife of the late William C. Totton; mother of Mark Totton, Craig Totton, Keith (Patti) Totton, and Cindy (Brad) Kidwell; grandmother of Jessica (Mike) Miller, Jennifer Kain, Nicole (Ben) Hoff, Danielle (Logan) Koehler, Brett Totton, and Samantha Totton; step grandmother of Tara Barnett and Landen (Toni) Barnett; great grandmother of Alyssa Miller, Austin Miller, Isabel Bauscher, Payton Hoff, Presley Hoff, Quirt Koehler and Harlynn Koehler; step great grandmother to Keith Reincke and Kole Barnett. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Edith Clark and Sandra Akins. Marion was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Marion enjoyed gardening, flea market shopping, painting, sewing, crocheting, needle point, and watching her beloved Bengals and always praying for a win. She was a talented artist and there wasn't a thing she could not fix. She had a great love for her camp in Cedar Grove, Indiana where she watched her children, grandchildren and even great grandchildren grow their love of camp through the years as well. A love for boating and water skiing was a passion of hers which brought her much joy and pride that she taught herself to do. Not only did she teach herself how to water ski but she learned how to play the organ and attempted the guitar, which she always said that the guitar was a bit difficult for her. Going out to eat was a must for Marion and there wasn't a dessert that she couldn't resist. Another hobby she thoroughly enjoyed was square dancing with her husband Bill, she even sewed her own outfits for it. Singing was another of her talents that she shared, whether it was singing with her sisters or serenading her kids and grandkids, there was always a little song that she taught her family, especially "You are my Sunshine". But her greatest love was her family, she had a love that knew no bounds for her kids and grandkids. There was hardly ever a school event, sporting event, horse show or dance recital that she did not attend to cheer on her family, she was their number one fan!
The family will receive guests on Sunday, October 25th from 11:00 AM until time of funeral service at 1:00 PM at Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, 3155 Harrison Avenue Cincinnati, OH 45211. Rev. J. Martin Westermeyer officiating.
