Means, Alberta (nee Bischoff) beloved wife of the late Delmar Means. Dear mother of Mary (Rick) Groene. Devoted Nana and cohort in shenanigans with granddaughters: Katie “The Boss” and Ashley “Little Nana” Hill. Caring great-grandma of Otis the Pug and Layla the Great Dane. Also survived by many family members.
She passed away at home surrounded by love on May 23, 2020 at the age of 94. She will be remembered as the spiritual leader of her family. She was a travel partner all around the U.S., even if she always said it was going to be her last trip. Alberta was an animal whisperer, this included feeding the squirrels outside her window. She starred in many original video, directed and written by her granddaughters. She was a lover of sweets and even managed to steal some of Mary’s wedding cake before they were able to cut it. Alberta didn’t know a stranger and was loved by everyone who met her. Her young, welcoming, loving energy will be missed by many.
Services will be private due to the current circumstances. Memorials donations may be made to St. John the Baptist (Harrison), 509 Harrison Ave., Harrison, OH 45030.
