Obituary for Deirdre Trefzger (Lalosh)
Trefzger, Deirdre (nee Lalosh) beloved wife of Kurt Trefzger for 40 years. Cherished mother of Christina Sacay (Scott), Ian Trefzger (Valerie), and Kyle Trefzger (Nicole). Beloved Grandmother (Lola) of George Sacay, Lincoln Sacay, Knox Sacay, Kendall Trefzger, Nora Trefzger, Brady Steinbrugge, and Bruce Trefzger. Dia is survived by her sisters Rose Girten (Robert), Ann Lalosh, Karla Lalosh, Adrienne Heffernan (Joe), and Janet Lalosh. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and wonderful friends. Her spirit touched so many.
Dia passed away unexpectedly May 9, 2020 at the age of 57. She loved animals, and worked at Beechmont Pet Hospital. She had an enormous love of music, art, culture, and all things beautiful. She had an amazing appreciation for food, fun, and time spent enjoying life. Dia had a superpower of creating beautiful things with her hands. Her artwork will continue to brighten the lives of many. Her heart was as big and beautiful as she was. Her smile and laughter were infectious, and will remain in our memories.
To remember and honor Dia, we will have a celebration of her life on Sunday, August 9, 2020. This will take place at The Western Hills Country Club (5780 Cleves Warsaw Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45233) from 1-4pm, with a brief memorial service at 2pm. Come with your favorite memories to share.
