Ray, Sherry L. Loving companion for 30 years of Jeannie Hendren. Dear daughter of Eva (Whitaker) Ray and the late Raymond "Wayne" W. Ray. Dear sister of Anita "Nita" Benthein (late Charles Terry Benthein) and Craig Reed. Special aunt of Farrah Johnson and Jennafer "Jenna" Moringstar. Sherry passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 age 70 years. Sherry worked for many years as an LPN at Ft. Hamilton Hospital, Providence Hospital and Llanfair Retirement Community. She also worked for Rural Metro Ambulance Service as a medic. Sherry treated everyone with special care and compassion. She loved animals, especially her cats; Mike, Dennis and Piper. She also loved her church family at Christ Fellowship. Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 22 from 2 pm until time of Memorial Service at 4 pm at Christ Fellowship Church, 5000 N. Bend Rd. (Monfort Heights). In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Sherry's memory to your favorite animal shelter.
