Sterwerf, Lester J. Sr., beloved husband for 67 years of the late Hilda (nee Beckman) Sterwerf. Loving father of Lester (Helen) Sterwerf, Jr., James (Nancy) Sterwerf, Jeanett (late Robert) Stouffer, and Patricia (Mark) Warning. Devoted grandpa of 11 and great grandpa of 18. Dear brother of Mark (Mary) Sterwerf and the late Anthony (Alice) Sterwerf, Ralph (liv. Thelma) Sterwerf, Elmer (liv. Mazel) Sterwerf, Luke Sterwerf, and Marian (Harry) Stenger. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Proud US Army Veteran who served in WWII. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion of Harrison. Passed away Jan 6th at the age of 96. Visitation Saturday January 12th from 9am-10:30am at Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, 10385 New Haven Rd Harrison, Ohio 45030. Funeral Mass to follow at 11am at St. John the Baptist Church, Harrison, Ohio. Burial with military honors will take place at 1:45pm at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
