Van Stone, Robert G. "Bob" cherished husband of the late Lila Lee (Handley) Van Stone. Loving father of Brad (Janine) Van Stone, Robert (Toni) Van Stone, Ronald (Joan) Van Stone & Robin Coleman. Step-father of Fritz (Carol) Rehn, John (Robyn) Rehn & Terri (late Victor) Rehn-DeBruler. Devoted grandfather of Jennifer Coleman, Jacob, Max, Sam and Bobby Van Stone, Andy (Missy) Rehn, Kira & Kyle Rehn, Laura Rehn, Luke and Sam Rehn. Step-grandpa of Amy (Rod) Lopez & David Knisley. Great-grandfather of Andres, Liam and Grace Lopez, Brookelyn Towe, Branten Rehn, Xavier and Logan Proulx. Only son of the late George & Thelma (Crary) Van Stone. Died April 1, 2017, at the age of 89. Born in Rochester, New York Bob served in The United States Coast Guard before attending college. He then joined General Electric where he worked until retirement. Visitation Wednesday from 10am until time of funeral services at 12 Noon at The Minges Funeral Home, 10385 New Haven Rd. (Harrison). Burial with military honors will follow at New London Cemetery. Memorials may be made to The American Lung Assoc.
