Obituary for Paul B. Olding

Olding, Paul B. beloved husband for 62 years of Anna May (Franey) Olding. Loving father of Paul (Kathy) Olding, Martha (Dan) Welling, Peter (Jeanne) Olding, Carrie (Chris) Garnett, Maria (Doug) Seitz, Vincent (Judy) Olding and the late Frank (Teresa) Olding. Cherished grandpa of 19 and great-grandfather of 2. Dear brother of Robert Olding, James (Carol) Olding, Margie (late Jim) Smith and the late Thomas Olding, Sr. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Age 85 yrs. Paul worked in sales and sales management for AMP, Inc. for 40 years. He graduated from St. Xavier High School and Xavier University. He was a Marine Corps Officer during the Korean War attaining the rank of 1st Lt. Paul was a former member of Xavier University Athletic and Alumni Board. Past President of The Xavier Musketeer Club, Miami View Golf Club, AXE Club, St. Catharine of Sienna Parish Council and Asbury Lake Condo Assoc. 60 year member of Purcell Council Knights of Columbus # 2793 and active volunteer at St. Catharine Church and Xavier University. Xavier season ticket holder for over 50 years. Member of Miami View Golf Club Hall of Fame and he mentored elementary students for five years at St. Francis Seraph Elementary School. Visitation Friday, from 5-8pm at the Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, 3155 Harrison Ave. (Westwood). Funeral Mass Saturday, 10:30am at St. Catharine of Sienna Church (Westwood). Memorials may be made to St. Catharine Grace Fund, 2848 Fischer Place. Cincinnati, Ohio 45211, Westfed Food Pantry, 3628 Boudinot Ave. Cincinnati, Ohio 45211 or St. Francis Seraph, 1615 Vine Street.
