Condolence From: Kathy
Condolence: Dear Marhoffer family. I am very sorry to have read of the recent death of your loved one, Douglas. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be very comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28,29 and also Revelation 21:3-5. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones, as well as do away with all of the many causes we have for suffering, including sickness, pain and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts will likewise comfort your family also during this most difficult time in your lives.

Condolence: Oh what a shock to hear you're gone my dear best friend. I will remember all the life and adventure you had inside you. There was never a dull moment with you. From Jet ski's to boats and camp fires to firey lanterns that flow in the ski; I never knew what time with you would hold but each time is a memory I hold dear. Thank you for always being there as we lifted each other up no matter what the circumstance. I will truly miss you but will carry you in my heart. Fly high amongst the angels Doug until we meet again.

Condolence From: Aunt Gigi
Condolence: Doug, I can't believe that you're really gone, I keep hoping this is a nightmare that will go away. I'll never forget when you were born, you were the first grandchild, we were all so excited. I was only 12 at the time and your grandma Dee used to watch you. I would fake sick just to stay home to be with you. I watched you grow up, and always thought you were so smart, funny, energetic, and then you had kids of your own. What a great father too. Emma and Chase love you so much. We will continue to look after them for you, and you will forever be in all of our hearts. Love forever, your Aunt Gigi

It is with a great deal of sorrow we learned of Doug's passing. Praying for you as this was unexpected. I lost my sister when she was 31, so we know what hurt is. Praying God will comfort you and the family, Doug's children who I know he loved so much. We are here for you if you need anything.
