Obituary for Virginia Clarabelle Mitchell

Mitchell, Virginia (nee Underwood). Beloved wife of the late Earl Mitchell. Loving mother of Duane Mitchell, Earlene (Kenneth) King, Michael Mitchell, Kevin (Ann) Mitchell, and Denise (Steve) Mattingly. Cherished grandma of Stacy (Chris) Page, Tama (Mike) Stevens, Melanie (Don) Offner, Colleen Mitchell, Barry Mitchell, Kristen (Bobby) Penrod, Karen (Jay) Behymer, Megan Mitchell, Nathan Mattingly, and Kyla Mattingly. Great grandma of Abby and Colin Page, Gabriella and Juliette Stevens, Madison Offner, and Jack Penrod. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Dovie Underwood and siblings, Mildred, Russell “Bud”, Naomi, Margery, John “Tom”, and Silas. Passed away on April 8th at the age of 87. Visitation Thursday from 11AM until time of funeral services at 12:30pm at the Minges Funeral Home, 10385 New Haven Rd Harrison, OH 45030. Burial to follow at New Haven Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of Jennings County 245 Norris Ave North Vernon, IN 47265.
