Taylor, III James R., died March 10, 2017, at the age of 70. James was the son of the late James R. Taylor, Jr. of California, KY, and the late Eloise (nee Roebuck) Taylor, also of California, KY. Though born in Wise County, Virginia, James was raised in Northern Kentucky, educated at Georgetown College and Xavier University. He had consecutive careers in criminal justice and was a partner in a technical recruiting firm. He spent the last eight years of his professional career working in management for a local hardware chain. Besides his dear wife Susan (nee Schaeper), he is survived by his sister Rebecca J. Taylor of California, KY, a son Michael A. (Susan) Taylor of Park Hills, KY, daughter Olivia (Richard) Canada of Norwood, OH, and step-daughter Stephanie (Christopher) Hicks of Cheviot, OH. He has six grandchildren (Jamie, Jacob, and Becca Canada, Annabelle and Sophia Hicks, Chelsea Taylor) and two great-grandchildren (Rachel and Christian Bailer). Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. Ignatius Church, 5222 North Bend Road, Monfort Heights, OH 45247. Interment will be private.
