Condolence From: Kitty Callahan

Condolence: Most of the memories that I have of my cousin Wally are of when he was a young man. When I think of his funny facial expressions and that special smile, it makes me smile inside. I'm so glad that I recently had the opportunity to see Wally again and listen to him sing his songs. I remember one classic song called "Dirty Socks"...Wally will be missed. Condolence From: Lauren Magee

Condolence: I met Walt almost 2 years ago through the 52 week songwriters group at Folk School Coffee Parlor. We made fast friends, which, I can't imagine anyone not instantly appreciating Walt. I absolutely loved his songs and all his stories. He was a true renaissance man, and it was a joy to talk art with him because he was always making something awesome and forever an inspiration. I took photos for him when he was on the Jerry Springer Podcast, and that was a heckuva fun night at the Folk School. I'll miss him terribly, and wish I'd gotten around to reconciling that songwriter prompt spreadsheet for him. Much love to his family.
