Obituary for Donna Lee Smith

Smith, Donna Lee (nee Settle), was born on February 21, 1943 in Connersville, Ind and she died surrounded by her family on Friday, December 2, 2016 in Mt. Orab, Ohio at the age of 73 years. Loving mother of Milly (Brian) Schwegman, Charles Smith, Pamela (Andy) Shanks and Phyllis (John) Smith. Devoted Grandmother of Ryan, Savannah Schwegman, Rachel Schwegman, Molly Smith, Briannia Dickman, Jonathan Smith, Brian DickmanII, Brooklyn McIntosh, Amelia Dickman, Gabriella Shanks, Isabella Shanks and Sophia Shanks. Great-grandmother of Marina Sudlik, Cora Schwegman, Ryker Schwegman & Victor Maiden. Dear sister of Georgia (Clayton) Taylor, William Settle, Michael Settle and her brother-in-law Jim Marcum. Donna Lee is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur & Mildred (Boyd) Settle, her siblings Arthur Settle Jr, Phyllis (Lee) Blanton, Robert Settle, Rita Marcum, Donald Settle (her twin brother), Betty Beardsley, James (Sharon) Settle, Robin Settle, Deborah Settle and Sharon Settle. She was a lifelong resident of Oxford, Ohio having worked at local businesses; Arby's, Oxfordview Nursing Center and K-Mart. She enjoyed cooking, painting and she was an avid gardener. The family would like to thank Hospice of Cincinnati for all the loving care they provided.Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 7 from 5 pm until time of memorial service at 7 pm at Minges Funeral Home, 10385 New Haven Rd. Harrison, Ohio. (45030)
